Business Presentation on last Friday which is also my last day of school...

I am having my 3 months break now! How awesome is that!!!!!!

Anyway, the day started off with business presentation in the morning

I am not a fan of strawberry but i must say that this milkshake taste really good!

After the lunch at swensens, I went home to rest.

But this is not the end...

I went out again at 10pm for a movie at Orchard with my YEP friends..

It was nice seeing them again, had a little catch up with them before heading home.

I only reached home at 3 in the morning.

I went shopping orchard yesterday..LOL
I miss shopping at Boston..I guess is the post Boston syndrome...lol
Anyway, I went Zara and buy a top and then I get a blazer along the way.
Went to check out prices for Kate Spade, Coach, Longchamp, Tiffany and Co and Marc Jacobs. I regretted not buying more from Boston..They are just to expensive to purchase here in Singapore.

A couple of things to update but don't know where to start from. LOL

We had a early Mother's Day celebration as i am going to Genting for the weekend. We had a mini celebration at my grandmother house. Btw, the cake taste so awesome! All the roses decorated on top of the cake are white chocolate.

Yes, my love bonito parcel is here. I bought 2 maxi of the same design but different colour and another tube dress.

Recently, I found a store at amk selling steak that taste awesome! It was such a huge portion that I could not finish it. It is only 12 bucks. Highly recommended for those who loves steak

Oh yes, there is a sale at watsons this week. I went to the Bugis outlet, pick up a couple of items. This time round, i think the sale was not as great as the first one in the beginning of the year.

It's Good Friday, I went a lil shopping with my mum in Orchard.
Before I share what i have bought at Orchard, there are a couple of stuff I already bought a couple of weeks back then.

I picked up a few hand lotion, aloe vera gel from nature republic and a couple of stuff from the vitamin c range from The Body Shop. I have about 80 dollars of voucher yet to be redeem..will pick up more stuff using the voucher.

Then, I went Sephora in Orchard- Ion today. As usual, I picked up a few more stuff from there. 2 make up set, a universal atomizer and a face cleanser. I have also about 40 dollars of voucher yet to be redeemed as well. Will get another make up set using that voucher.. excited*

On top of that, there are a few items i picked up along the way. 3 lip gloss, 2 lip sticks, 2 eye shadows and a set of fake nails.

In addition, I have also got myself 2 rings, 1 pair of earrings and a accessories for my mobile phone. awesome!

If you have wonder how much stuff i have bought over the days, weeks, months and years. The below picture is the amount of skin care, make up, make up accessories, hair accessories that i have not yet used- they are all brand new. I have another few cupboards that are used to store the used ones. Just a lil preview of it..

Yes yes, for those who know me well. I can live without food but not my clothes, make up and accessories...LOL
Trust me! I am well known for that.

I managed to squeeze some time to blog after completing my statistics assignment and my class is in the afternoon, so here i am blogging.

Last week, my Alex help me to order about 40 pieces of masks from Korea. Sweet isn't it?

I love love him a lot..

Then, i had a hand shoot last week. The below picture is the sponsored manicure. on top of that, my transport expenses is also covered. What really shocks me is that they engage a manicurist to the shoot just to take care of my hand? I think my hand is the most expensive part, my hand is helping me to earn money..LOL

The manicurist was really sweet, she attend to all my requests i have such as feeding me sushi..helping me to top my up drinks every half an hour. massage my hand every break i have during the shooting process. What more can i ask for? The best thing is I am being paid throughout the shoot and I still have this kind of entitlement. Even though, i have been doing hand shoot for the past 2 years but this is the first time I did it in a commercial type. Its was so awkward, 20 pairs of eyes looking at me throughout the shoot. I felt so uncomfortable and pressurize. I need to complete my best take within 4 hours, with the need to portray sexiness with just using hands. That was really stress, but i had lots of fun.

I need to go and start prepare and get ready for school.

But lots of statistics work for me to clear.

Its been ages since i last do math questions.

But i know that is not the excuse for me to not do my work...

I am planning to go and get my luggage on wed.

I only have 2 hours of class that day.

So going to walk around and see if there is suitable one.

Hopefully i can get a pink one..

My mum was really sweet.

My mum bought me a watch upon hearing that i like a watch.

I was talking to my friend on phone.

I think she overheard my conversation that i came across a watch that i like.

What more, my mum knows that i was upset because my watch was spoilt like weeks ago.

She bought a watch and left it on my study table.

I was so excited, I am like a child opening her birthday present!

I know the watch is not cheap and although i don't always express through words.

But i appreciate it a lot.

I have a awesome mum, don't i?

Now started on my second term.

Its been too relax that i am so not used to it.

like almost 2 hrs of lesson daily?

Although statistics is a killer.

Recently, I am guilty of spending more money.

I should have save those money for my Boston trip.

WooHoo! I am having holidays now!
Although its only one week but this few days i have been waking up and do nothing!
A lot of things had happened over the past few days.

CNY have been terrible.
I am having like 39.8 degrees of high fever.
Damm it..
I didn't enjoy my holidays and i have to still complete my damm reflections.
Ah..but can you believe it?
I completed 14 assignments, 30 reflections and 50 chapters of readings in just 6 weeks..
I felt smarter somehow!
LOL

Another major thing that happened is I almost faint on Saturday!
Oh gosh, don't ask me why, I have no idea too..
I was happily doing some shopping alone
Then, I lost my sight out of the sudden and felt dizzy for like half an hour?
What worse is I fell down like 5 times when i walk to the toliet.
Omg, that was the worse experience i ever had.
I felt helpless and all i could do is to tell myself i could not faint.
Because i am alone and no one will help me i think...LOL
I regained my sight only when i ate a bar of chocolate.

Anyway, i have been preparing for my Boston trip.
This 5 weeks trip have costs me almost close to 6k
Not including expenses okay.
I still have a lot of things to prepare for the trip
My visa interview, my bank cheque, my standing order,
my bank verification, and i have to open an citibank account just for this trip
What the?
I still need to get a vaccine
All these costs a lot!
Its just so troublesome

Lalalala....but now i shall enjoy my holidays!

2010 is ending soon and I should do a post on concluding on my fantastic year. I have been blessed in countless aspect; there is no crossing the finishing line when it comes to being thankful.

In terms of my academic work in poly days, we have all grown, not discounting the setback and managed to enter my current university life.

It’s my privilege to getting to know, meet, gain incredible insight from people from all facets of life, and impart experiences and to teach us valuable lessons. I appreciate every bit of this.

Not to mention, I am thankful for having a boyfriend who have been by my side for the year, a 3 years sweet relationship that is still going strong.

Family- they are always by my side especially my difficult moments, I am thankful for having a caring mother who constantly needs to endure my temper whenever my assignment/ tests are approaching. Transition from sec school to poly and now university, she always stand by me. Appreciate it mum.

CASHX- Friends. the journey of the five wonderful friends will prevail. till the end of time :) many more peektures many more tales to tell. We had a great time during Celine’s wedding. So who is next? Looking forward to it!

Poly mates/University mates- we will embrace the New Year together, and off to BOSTON! Of course to fulfill the academic credits and secure a job as an ECH educator.

I foresee a lot of downs the next year but I believe with the support and encouragement from my dearest bf, Alex, my family and friends. I will be able to embrace it and to stay strong.

As for the positive times/things that will be happening, stay tune to my blog. I will share with you all soon I hope? Lol

Last friday was my company annual christmas dinner held at Intercontinental hotel.

The theme for the dinner was Magical christmas, so the whole HR department decided to dress up as angels as shown above...=)

The whole night was busy with coordinating with the hotel staff and the activities.

So did not managed to more take pictures or eat much.

Dinner was pretty good: especially the turkey and the honey baked ham.

The event went well so our efforts are paid off.

How my weekend was spent?
I went shopping for both days.

Alison's Simple Pleasures

1. Waking up earlier than stipulated time, knowing that I can still sleep for another half an hour. Nothing beats it than having your beauty sleep.

2. Observing young children in action in public places, they are just too adorable. I cannot help but to watch them. Even my bf says that i am too engrossed that i stop listening to him during our conversation..lol

3. Patting young children to sleep but end up I fall asleep first, and waking up with a tiny hand patting me and a small blanket covering me…

4. Checking inbox emails with full of surprise mails

5. Eating my favourite tub of ice cream while watching television

6. Taking pictures: miss the time I had lots and lots of photos taken with my secondary school mates.

7. Having afternoon nap, it is a blessed to have afternoon nap especially after early morning lecture or during holidays. I bet I will not get to enjoy it when I stepped into Wheelock or working society

8. Trying out new makeup I bought, people who are close or know me every well will knows that I have millions of makeup at home..=)

9. SHOPPING! I can shop for hours without stopping!

10. Receiving cards and even simple notes from children/parents/friends. It can be very assuring at times.

11. Yoga!

12. Change my handbag and pouch everyday!

The venue was packed with lots and lots of people, until they have to send ppl into the shop in batches..But luckily my mum and i was early and managed to get into the shop very soon.
My buys from the watsons which costs me about 160 bucks?

It's costs me almost an 100 bucks..but it is worth it i guess..

Saturday is going to over then..Why does my weekend pass so quickly?

School going to start end of June..but i have not had sufficient rest yet..LOL

On the other hand, I love shopping with my dearest.
Although shopping can be tedious and tired.
We went to Orchard with the hope of finding a suitable prom dress but nothing caught my eye.
I am on the verge of giving up getting a prom dress, there it goes, i found one!
I guess my dearest will consider carefully before commencing on any other shopping trips with me in future..LOL..He is tired of walking around Orchard..my poor boy!

Totally love him lots, he is the only one who can tolerate all my nonsense..

A Review i wrote for Hollyhoque

Clothing as an extension of me

Purchasing new clothing for Chinese New Year- It's one of those things I want to do, but have trouble finding the time especially due to my school commitment which only ends 5 days before New Year. Luckily, there is online shopping to cater for those who have limited time to shop. I fell in love at the first sight with the Mandarin Collar Oriental Halter Dress on the Hollyhoque preview website when I first saw.

On the day of the launch, I rushed home so that not to missed the collection. But then didn’t I expect that the website crash, I refresh for an hour and check out the item the moment I add to my cart. Phew! My mum even commented that she had never seen me so hardworking before! =)

This is the oriental dress that I am waiting for and I never regret purchasing it. Absolutely gorgeous is the best way to describe this dress. Traditional yet unique, modern and stylish. I was the focus when I wear it to CNY gathering and of course my virgin visit to the Resort World! It was the most perfect day, and you have no idea how many people commented on the dress, they loved them!!!

It been some time since i am back from Xiamen and i have not blog anything yet..

I am soooooo sooooo lazy even though i am sooo free after that Xiamen trip.

Xiamen trip was fun where there is shopping and OT--->OWN TIME!

For the rest of the time, we are like some "china" workers helping to dig the 800m of soil and putting water pipes.

Imagine i have to climb up the hill everyday just to get work started...

Omg...it is so tedious.

My arm hurts every night and the living condition there was really bad..

In my whole life, this is the first time i stay in such a bad condition.

I almost vomit every time i went to their toilet. this was HOW BAD it is...

I have to spray perfume every morning to get into the toilet..LOL

But as time passes, i eventually get used to it..LOL..

Every shopping trip was great. Yi Zhen and i walked so fast so that we could covered the whole 10 floor shopping centre in 1 hr plus time..LOL

Oh yeah! We managed to did it okay..

We buy things as if they are free...

I think i got myself 7 pieces of clothing, a slipper, a diary, some cutie pouch and many many more.

I went there with 2 bags and came backwith 3 bags..the weight increase by abt 4Kg..LOL

But i regretted not buying more..aiya...

I misses the time i had there with my gang of friends...

I think we really bonded well..

Every moment of time are well spent together...

We capture photos in every 5 steps?

LOL

We have a total of thousand of photos from all the cameras collected..

I believed most of us have change for the good...

I cherish every moment of the times there...

2 weeks trip
Will only be back on 23 mar..
By then, i will update on the Xiamen trip in detail.
I am feeling kind of nervous but yet a little afraid
I am afraid that i might not be able to carry the big pack back which weight half of my weight..

A simple chinese new year i celebrated...

Nothing much special...

As a assignment that is due after the first two days of chinese new year..

I was not in the mood to "party"

However, we managed to complete that 16 pages of essay in two days..
